YOUR VOICE MATTERS
When the political process puts party over people, the process is moved towards extreme partisanship rather than practical problem solving. We are working to make politics about the people, not the parties. Inviting all to the process will greatly improve results.
WHAT YOU'RE SAYING
We've been listening to people all over our beautiful state who want more of a say in the decisions that affect their communities.

SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS
What matters to you? We want to know what you love (or not) about Utah and your hopes for the future of our state. When have you felt well represented? What changes do you want to see in the future?
Utah Constitution, Article 1, Section 2
"All political power is inherent in the people; and all free governments are founded on their authority for their equal protection and benefit, and they have the right to alter or reform their government as the public welfare may require."
A BETTER WAY
Although "all political power" is granted to the people constitutionally, the majority of Utahns' voices aren't currently being heard in the political process. In Utah, Republican candidates determined in the primary races win 81% of elections. But only 0.16% to 17% of Utah's eligible voters choose who those candidates will be.
Currently, primary elections are funded by all taxpayers—yet not all taxpayers are invited (or allowed) to participate. We believe this is a form of "taxation without representation."
The closed primary system excludes the bulk of Utah's eligible voters. We think there's a better way. That way would be to invite all candidates and all voters to one primary ballot.
About
We're a group of Utahns from all political persuasions (or no political persuasion) who believe that our representative democracy works best when all are invited to participate. We believe the state Constitution when it states that our government is founded on the people's "authority for their equal protection and benefit."
We are Utahns who believe in our constitutional right to alter or reform our government as the public welfare may require. We want more people to have a say in the choice of their leaders and the policies that affect their communities and their lives.

We're dedicated to:
1. Strengthening your voice. We're listening to the concerns and hopes of people all over Utah, gathering people together, and amplifying the stories we hear from you.
2. Using our collective voice. We will advocate for changes to the election system to make our representative democracy more thoroughly representative.
Our work
Listen
Join us for a Listening Lab, where we invite people from all over the state to tell us what matters to them. Hearing from you is a key part of our effort.
Gather
We connect the people of Utah together to work towards a more representative Utah. As the people of Utah join together, the power of our voice will grow exponentially!
Inspire
This increased power will inject hope back into the system and remind us all that government exists to serve us, for our "equal protection and benefit."
